Been around dementia patients,eh? I have too. I worked in three nursing homes. Lost my mother to Alzheimer’s.
It’s certainly true that dementia patients can recall, sometimes with amazing clarity something that happened 40 or 50 years ago and they’ll forget your name five seconds after you tell them. Or they may suddenly think it’s 50 years ago and they have to go to work or they think it’s 1965 and everything is as they remember that era to be. Joe might actually think it’s 1973 and he’s done nothing wrong. Doesn’t matter to me though. The guy is an out and out dirt bag.

Don’t they know he is mentally unfit to serve as President, with control of the nuclear codes and facing sudden crises against Iran, China or North Korea part of any work week at the White House?
