House Speaker Nancy Pelosi acknowledged Thursday the long odds of the Democrats' $3 trillion coronavirus relief legislation of becoming law and suggested the massive bill could be a starting point of negotiations with the White House and Senate.
"We're putting our offer on the table, we're open to negotiation," Pelosi said Thursday on the eve of the planned vote on the HEROES Act.
Her comments came just as the White House issued an official veto threat on the legislation, accusing Democrats of wanting to pass "long-standing partisan and ideological wish lists" rather than addressing the nation's public health and economic challenges.

Okay, counter offer: (1) $1,000 cash to each deported illegal alien, including DACA with commitment they NEVER return, (2) implement eVerify for all current and future employees (part/full time, temp or perm), (3) end all worker visas and rescind current visas, (4) offer matching income for 3 months for each American filling a job formerly filled by an illegal or visa worker, (5) 100% new tariff on all products from China with 90% of those funds being distributed to each state to help cover Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus costs, and (6) immunity from prosecution for each member of congress that resigns in the next 30 days.
She’ll retrieve that relief money when demRATs return to power through confiscation of middleclass wealth until there’s no middle class.

Not terribly upset with this. This is how politics is done.
Pelosi wants communism, pure and simple, and this bill will swallow the little private economy still legally operating without government funding and direction.
My counteroffer:
(1) No more abortion or contraception funding, no funding for any organization or entity that provides abortions domestically or abroad or any closely associated company, including any entity that uses the same employee, address, bank account or facility. No exceptions.
(2) An immediate cut of 50% of the salaries of all bureaucrats to the extent that such remuneration exceeds the minimum wage.
(3) All agencies asked to submit budget requests reflecting a 30%, 50%, 70%, 80%, 90%, and 100% cut in spending and to request appropriate conforming legislation (e.g., authorization to repeal regulations, repeal of statutory authorities and mandates).
(4) Until unemployment drops below 12%, immigration will consist exclusively of spouses and minor children of United States citizens and not more than 900 other persons annually specifically selected by the president. Persons legally in the country can adjust status, but any non-citizens who depart this country and enter into another country forfeit their status. Legal immigrants of appropriate age can get work permits. All temporary work visas are limited to persons already legally in the United States of America. Time limits on such visas will not be extended. Once a person leaves the country and enters into another country, even temporarily, eligibility ends and all such visas are revoked (except spouses and minor children of United States citizens).
(5) A special prosecutor will examine the deep-state conspiracy between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Washington Post. Another special prosecutor will examine the crimes of the Clinton crime family. By special rule, the federal district court in Cactus, Texas, shall have jurisdiction over any prosecutions arising from these prosecutors, and no trials shall seat any juror from the District of Columbia or who is a federal employee or employee of the Clinton crime family. Donald Trump shall appoint the judges of this court, subject as usual to Senate confirmation.
(6) Nancy Pelosi shall be assigned to study the works of Pope Saint John Paul II, especially Evangelium Vitae, at a convent chosen by a panel of conservative Catholics, whom Donald Trump shall select, for a period of not less than seven years, beginning within ten days after the singing of this bill. She many not return to or cast votes in Congress until she completes this assignment. The convent shall receive her salary if elected to Congress during the period of her education and shall not release her if it has any doubt regarding her acceptance of the principles of the culture of life or her sincere repudiation of all forms of socialism.
(7) Congress shall devise a plan to balance the budget in the next fiscal year and to repay the debt within the next ten years and shall carry such plan to completion.
(8) Because of the great disruption to the American economy, every citizen of the United States of America within the United States of America shall receive a subsidy check of $1,100 per month until unemployment drops below 10%. All other federal government income-support programs, including but not limited to supplemental nutrition assistance, student grants, supplemental security income, housing choice vouchers, daycare subsidies, unemployment compensation, pandemic unemployment payments, and temporary assistance to needy families are terminated permanently. Social Security recipients shall get the greater of the $1,100 check or their current check. This does not affect federal subsidies for healthcare. After unemployment falls below 10% for three months, the monthly subsidy shall decrease $100 per month per capita until it reaches $0. Non-citizens get none of this money.
(9) Effective in autumn 2020, no further federal student loans will be available. Any private student loans thereafter disbursed will be fully discharged in bankruptcy proceedings at least seven years after graduation of the student or ten years after the completion of the academic term for which the loan paid tuition, whichever is earlier. No student visas will be available for persons not already legally in the United States of America. Any person in the United States of America who departs the country and enters into another country forfeits any student visa. Universities dominated or controlled by communists shall be ineligible for federal grants or contracts.
(10) Illegal aliens shall be incarcerated or deported at the discretion of the President and the courts. No person convicted of a felony in any state, federal, tribal, or other court shall be released until Immigration and Customs Enforcement affirms the citizenship of the convicted felon.
(11) The Patient Protection Affordable Care Act is repealed, and its funding is negated forevermore, effective the end of this fiscal year.
(12) A flat tax is implemented on all income, beginning with the 2021 tax year. The tax rate shall depend on Congressional spending. Congressmen pay double, Democrat Congresswomen pay triple. Those in Congress who support deficit spending pay quintuple.
(13) A large list of other secret demands shall be filled, but I will not list them until you vote for my proposal.

Pay all politicians on an HOURLY basis since they don’t seem to average more than 13 hours a week actually doing their jobs. NO MORE “SALARIES”.
A single addendum: enact universal term limits effective immediately, no grandfathering.
Looks like the only to deal with the democrat arty is to starve it to death no more free ride money.
