I’ve got news for him.
The mayor, the governor the county “Public Health Director” will not determine when LA or California get back to work.
That decision lies with the American consumer and the local businesses that serve that consumer.
Movie theaters could open today, and they’d operate at a loss, as not enough customers would go. Probably the same for indoor dining at restaurants. I was rolling around yesterday working my night job, and it’s already happening. People are removing the “closed” tape from outdoor tables, park benches etc. and beginning to get their lives back on line.
I see and sense the same thing even here in NJ, and we have another ghoulish/vampire Governor who works as a one-two punch with the foul Andrew Cuomo. More and more sheriffs and police forces in general around the country are refusing to break people up,harass them, give them tickets, etc. and that’s probably the best thing I’ve seen in this entire ordeal.Regardless of the draconian timetables set down by suicidal/homicidal tyrants like Garcetti, people WILL indeed take their lives back and there won’t be anything Garcetti, Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, Northram, etc. can do about it. Judges like the hack in Dallas who sent Shelly Luther to jail and fined her $7000 have just seen their “Last Hurrah” in the pushback on that scenario, pushback being official and coming from the Governor and AG. They can only push things so far, and I still think the thing that makes their mouths water is provoking us into at least sporadic armed conflict. When all else fails, it’s all they’ve got in the final analysis.
Restaurants are reopening here, but they’re going with the social distancing crap. Salons are open, movie theaters are closed.
The Republican Party office is closed; I think they’re having virtual quilting bees.
I’d like to see somebody organize a group to combat election fraud on the Western Slope.
