It’s not about the shut down. It’s about dipping their nose in the largess.

WE are being blamed for it ALL. This is how the left spins it.

Well, I don't blame them. If you owned a company that has received zero revenue for 8 weeks through no fault of your own, shouldn't the government reimburse them like they are doing for the airlines and for Amtrak. Basic fairness says yes.

I think most people here do not have a full understanding of the economic dislocation going on. For the moment, it is invisible for most people. I'm in one of the best economic areas of the country and I see it. I noticed a hotel that had been in business for decades have a chain link fence put around it and closed for good. I noticed another restaurant whose sign was pulled down and closed for good. This one was open as long as I can remember. Someone said it was open for decades but could not withstand having no revenue for 2 months. Some of the restaurants I talked to said that the to go option at best is break even but they do it to give some work to employees.

Unemployment will go to 20+% easily. Even the White House said they think it is already at 20%. The monthly numbers from the Dept of Labor are two weeks old when released.

There won't be jobs for everyone to go back to when this is over. Something to think about.
