I think those in northern Mexico were the first to leave Mexico if they lived in Northern Mexico.
My great grandparents on one side of family and the other family came into the U.S.A. before 1910. In fact, they were actual refugees from Mexico going to the U.S.A. starting in 1905 thru 1908.
My father's family just only on his father's side was already here since my grandfather was born in 1892 having my great grandfather born in 1870 and my great grandmother was born in the San Antonio area in 1874. I can not find where my great great grandparents were born??? Like I have said before we all are immigrants in this great nation of ours and our founding fathers were called of God to write the Constitution of the U.S.A.
It is great to live in the U.S. since we are the No. 1 nation in the world that all folks want to be here but it has to be legally.

Pancho Villa, the pendejo was reason in Sonora.
My grandfather never set foot in Mexico again.
