Safety of the drug has already been done and while the Q-T period is altered, this has not been associated with an immediate life-threatening cardiac event when properly dosed. Certainly under the care of an ICU team or a personal physician, this will be monitored. Millions and millions of people have taken HCL for long periods of time with no severe adverse event.

Exactly- and that fact has established the safety of this drug- liek you said- this drug will be given —short term only— in most cases, and monitored for any negative effects-
Aspirin causes deaths- this has been established- and it is very risky- far more risky than HCQ apparently because i can’t find info about how many have died while on HCQ- but there is plenty of evidence of people bleeding to death while taking aspirin- with aspirin there is an estimated 1% chance of death- what is the % for HCQ? I’ll bet it is way way lower-
They would rather put them on a ventilator and watch them die then give them a medication that has a good chance of curing them. I’m not surprised at all that the left is playing politics with people’s lives. I bet they have prescriptions at their house just in case they need it.
