On Monday, McConnell did an interview with Team Trump Online about recent remarks made by Obama on Trump's response to the coronavirus. McConnell said that he believed Obama should have "kept his mouth shut" rather than criticizing Trump. In response, former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele trashed McConnell for condemning Obama.
"I'm sure Mitch is aware that a grown ass black man who happens to be a former president has agency to speak his mind on how his successor is managing this crisis, especially since his successor has yet to keep 'his mouth shut' about him," Steele tweeted.

Davy, if you think we’re going to have 10 Barry Goldwaters come out of CA, I think you’re gonna have a long wait.
All I want are 6-7 flips that will give us a vote for Jim Jordan as Speaker.
Now, with the WI hold, the Van Drew switch, the Garcia win, we are that much closer to getting the House back.
I get that it will be hard, that we will have two redistricted NC seats to “get back.” But just as the DemoKKKrats ran the table in 2018 under very favorable circumstances, the Republicans seem poised to gain a LOT of disgruntled people over the lockdowns. As of now I give the DemoKKKrats a slight advantage in holding the House by 5-6, but it won’t surprise me if by election day the GOP doesn’t get a net 30 swing.
This is a blatantly racist statement from Michael Steele.
I’m somewhat baffled as to how this is a response to post #91, as I was talking about former RNC Chairs.
“10 Barry Goldwaters come out of CA, I think youre gonna have a long wait.”
Where did I mention him ? Goldwater was certainly not my ideal on social issues, especially with him and his wives chin-deep in Planned Barrenhood. I’d prefer Tom McClintock clones.

Kevin McCarthy might want to have a word with you on that. As for flips in CA, we’ll be lucky to hold Garcia, assuming he even “wins” (they’re still counting, after all). That record I stated that it has been 1994 since a federal Dem incumbent has been “defeated” in California still holds, as the Garcia race didn’t involve an incumbent. I expect to see a level of fraud of epidemic proportions in CA in November.

That’s still 22 seats away from a majority of one seat (those 2 seats stolen by the Dem Supremes in NC for November from the current 20 seats we’re down). Obviously we’ll win some back, but California is so riddled with fraud and chicanery, I can’t seriously expect anything there and we have to look elsewhere to make up the difference.
It’s a damn shame we cannot get as absolute control over GOP states to draw as we please as Dems are. Dems utilize any and all tactics in our states to get “more” (that AZ has a 5D-4R delegation instead of the 7R-2D it would likely have with the legislature drawing the lines is an abomination). All those other states I gave examples of not long ago. Dems don’t have to make concessions to draw us lines (where are the 3 out of 9 seats we deserve in Massachusetts ? 3 out of 8 in Maryland ? At least 16 in California, et al ?)
Sorry, reading through this I thought it was in response to the election of Garcia.
Totally agree on the chairs. Heck, even when we get a desirable state chair like Kelly Ward, nary a peep against Steve Douchey on his lockdown. Ward has struggled to unite the party, in no small part due to attempts to (depending on your point of view) skirt the rules of appointing delegates or democratize the process.
I am no where near close enough to the process to even begin to know what is what.
