Participants in the successful Media Coup known as Watergate, now work to defend the attempted Media Coup against President Donald Trump.

The Supreme Court handled a civil case ruling 9-0 earlier this month.

This is a federal criminal case governed by federal rules of procedure. Wish I knew what Judge Sullivan is doing but Sidney Powell filed a scathing opposition to this opening up for a third party submission circus.

It goes against federal rules and Judge Sullivan’s own rulings about such third party submissions in the SAME case back in 2017.

There’s going to more opposition filed and at least one ethics complaint.

Why does Judge Sullivan invite that? Wish I knew. Dinner with Eric Holder can’t be worth it.

Judge Sullivan was appointed by Ronald Reagan. That was many decades ago but he is not a Democrat.

He was appointed to the federal bench in 1994 by Bill Clinton.

Yes, he was originally appointed to the Superior Court of DC by Ronald Reagan, a decade earlier.

According to the protocol of the time, Reagan did not have a great deal of choices in DC judicial appointments. Sullivan has almost certainly been a lifelong Democrat.

With zero knowledge of the law, my read of it is that the judge is allowing outsiders to enter damaging and perhaps, knowing the left, libelous material to be entered into the court record.

If that is the case, with all of the evidence in Flynn’s favor-– and more importantly the evidence of malfeasance against him—one is led to believe that this only digs a deeper hole for Flynn’s enemies when the judge’s ruling is appealed.

It does briefly deny Trump his victory lap on the Flynn matter; it also says to me that it will deepen Trump’s anger, and drive him to behavior which will further enrage the left.

Pass the popcorn.

That's an interesting history and I love Mark Twain. Who will verify Sullivan's voter registration? Would not matter at this point. This is some blatant Deep State hogwash. Thank you marktwain! 😃🎩🐎🐱

Zenjitsuman ;" Justice delayed is Justice denied.
Maybe Sullivan should get to pay the legal fees for more trial in his Kangaroo court."

We are granted certain "inalienable rights to a quick and speedy trial."
Flynn has been denied both (!), and has been prosecuted by the State with unlimited and bottomless resources.
To deny Flynn a quick and speedy trial and decision by the courts, denies him his rights.
This trial is illegitimate, based upon documents submitted lately to the court.
It would seem appropriate to review whichever political decisions that the judge has previously made, and subject him, and his decisions, to judicial review,
and possible recall (!).

“Participants in the successful Media Coup known as Watergate, now work to defend the attempted Media Coup against President Donald Trump.”

Yes, very good. I was 24 the day Nixon resigned, and no one was a more passionate anti-Nixon Watergate hound than I was. Live and learn, I guess.

But to your point - Watergate was much, much more than a “media coup”. In fact, pushing CIA-connected Woodward out front with Bernstein and concealing Mark Felt served the interests of the real conspirators - the CIA, the FBI, and foreigners who in 1972 just as in 2016 had their long-range plans upset by the results of an American Presidential election.

Then, as now, congressional Dems went right along without a thought to right and wrong. Then, as now, the “networks” were USED as a megaphone to drip out a false conspiracy story, chapter by chapter, right through the impeachment and resignation grand finale.

Except THIS time, the people had many more sources of information than NYT-WAPO-ABC-NBC-CBS, Walter, Chet, and David were in their graves, and Mitt Romney turned out to have ZERO influence on his fellow RINOs, who by some miracle held the line instead of taking their normal swan dive.

No, this was Watergate 2.0, but the “media” then as now were not the drivers - they were whoring themselves out, again, to a shadowy Deep State conspiracy organized who knows where but issued their marching orders through the ultimate Deep State pawn his own self - BHO.

At least they didn’t take up the Dallas option - not yet, anyway.

It is hard to know who, if anyone, is in charge. I don't think you can easily separate the heads of the media from the players in the CIA, FBI, whatever.

In both coup attempts, the progressive elite, very badly, wanted the current President gone. In Watergate, they were successful.

In whatever this attempt comes to be known - perhaps Obamagate?- they have been unsuccessful, for the reasons you give.

“the judge is allowing outsiders to enter damaging and perhaps, knowing the left, libelous material...”

That’s not a wrong impression but there’s no libel risk involved in a court filing.
It is however connected to the concept of giving the Dem Media something to crow about and Judge Sullivan must absolutely know this.

I wish it ended there. The bias is incredibly bad if that is even only a partial motivation. Judge is dragging an innocent man through more of an unnecessary and quite unethical process in General Flynn.

He’s doing it and changing his earlier rulings on this exact type of third party submission on the basis it appears of some other newly added “interest.”

It’s quite disgraceful but it makes the butt hurt for the TDS crowd and Dems a little less in the process.

The new evidence bringing the DOJ withdrawal against Gen. Flynn is big but it’s far bigger to the entirety of the Russia Collusion Hoax and Mueller scam.

That’s why you see the anti-American Left losing their minds and ordering all lemmings to go out and repeat utter depravity.

They know it’s what comes behind this is far more dangerous and problematic.

Of course, none of this should matter to General Flynn and resolution of his case.

It’s utterly sad and disgraceful to General Flynn, his family and every Americans what may be transpiring here.

Fixed it

It seems Sullivan is very reluctant to turn loose this case. He must have been give an account number for an off-shore bank account.

It might be accurate to include the attempt against Reagan with “Iran-Contra”, perhaps the “WMD lie/Valerie Plame” attempt against Dubya Bush.

I think Sullivan issued that order because he did not want to appear to be acting in lockstep with the DOJ. I also think that if he rules against dismissing the case (which seems very unlikely) then the fact that he gave these people an opportunity to file briefs will be the first grounds for Flynn’s appeal and he knows that. So the most likely scenario is that he knows already he’s going to dismiss it but he’s just taking his time. Personally I think it works to the benefit of Trump though because it keeps the story on the front page.

“Watergate Prosecutors,” asked permission from U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan to allow them to intervene in the Flynn case so they can – to put it bluntly – tell his honor how to think and what to do.

BS! This is an "Overt Act in Furtherance of a Criminal Conspiracy, the Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Presidency, and Every last scumbag Lawyer that interferes should be Criminally Charged as a Co-Conspirator.

I agree, but the Deep State failed to put maximum effort into either of those.

With Trump, I'm not convinced yet that they won't go the Dallas route.

The deep state IC really, really, REALLY, does not want Flynn back in as NSA.

If he gets exhonerated via judge tossing case, nobody can stop Trump from doing just that. The acting NSA is just a placeholder. No Senate confirmation needed (unlike, say, FBI director).

But if he gets sentenced, and Trump issues a pardon, it will be impossible, politically, for Trump to put him in his cabinet. That’s the lay of the land, though wishful thinking hope porn types won’t accept that.

P. S. I think Sullivan will blowtorch the prosecution and dismiss the case. Roscoe convinced me:
