Lol. The hand picked black woman? That’s more racist than anything y’all think the mcmichaels did. She was chosen because they assumed she’ll appease the insatiable black panther thugs.

I think you are the one who is trying to appease the mob.

I am just looking at the facts dispassionately.

Why would you want to support these two thugs?

I'm sorry, if two thugs accosted me, I believe I have the right to defend myself. I'm not sure why you'd like to live in such a country.

By the way, if these two men are so great, why have they been caught in so many lies and changed their stories so many time.

Prove what? That I have the right to defend myself? Lady, if you don’t believe in the right to self defense, there isn’t much I can do about it.

Haha! Im familiar with bort and his claims. We’ve sparred about this case over the past week. Not that it matters, but some of the things he said early on makes me very suspicious of his resume. I think I’ll wait until the actual facts of this case come out.

To invoke the felony murder rule you must have an UNDERLYING FELONY. The killing itself is not the felony. So please explain to me what FELONY were these guys committing at the time Arbery charged at the guy with the shotgun? Answer: None. BTW, please stop throwing out insults. I have tried dozens of murder cases as a lawyer while you are pulling stuff out of your ass.

What do mean “tried dozens of murder cases as a lawyer?” You weren’t a prosecutor or a defense attorney? How were you “trying” them?

So even if the father and son saw him coming from the property, they had no way of knowing if he had the owners permission to be on that property
———————————————————————————————
It’s called PROBABLE CAUSE, not proof beyond a reasonable doubt. We don’t know all the facts, but we do know that dad recognized him as a suspect in previous crimes in the neighborhood including from that house. We also know that dad was outside and witnessed the suspect SPRNT by him just after a neighbor shouted at Arbery “What are doing in that house?”
Assume that a police officer was driving down the street and knew what dad knew about prior burglaries and thefts. Are you suggesting the police wouldn’t have PC to detain Arbery? He is SPRINTING from a house that apparently everybody in the neighborhood knows has been a crime target. Btw, this occurred on a Sunday when the job site would be emptyi.

Felony aggravated assault (They certainly committed that), false imprisonment, possibly kidnapping, stalking can be a felony in Georgia.

Tell me Mr. Lawyer, what grounds did they have to chase this guy in a truck with guns, then to cut him off, after which he ran the other way, then try to block him off again, then pull up alongside them again, and have one of them jump out with a shotgun?

Keep in mind, according to what the two men claimed at the scene, they witness no crime. Although what they did is not legal, even if they had.

I suppose I’ll have to dumb-down my legal analysis next time for your benefit.

It’s called PROBABLE CAUSE, not proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

They weren't police officers. So their is now PROBABLE CAUSE. You claim to be lawyer in Georgia, how is their probable cause for a civilian? Civilians are not police officers, and shouldn't be acting a such. Civilians have no probable cause to go after someone, and do it armed.

We also know that dad was outside and witnessed the suspect SPRNT by him just after a neighbor shouted at Arbery

No, the on scene police report says a neighbor saw the guy running, and called the father and told him. So he didn't witness it, according to him. Except that he catches himself in a lie, because he said he recognized him, even though he hasn't seen him.

The construction site wasn't even McMichael's property, so he had no idea whether this person had permission.

But, in short, the was nothing legal about him grabbing guns and going in pursuit of someone. Nothing in Georgia law allows this.

If you are a lawyer, how come you don’t know that the legal system enshrine everything a killer says as truth. Your whole scenario depends on believing everything this guy says is 100% (Even when he contradicts himself) true, and not verifying it at all.

McMichaels isn't a police officer. There is no Georgia law that allows for a civilian to take over the functions of a police officer.

You are correct. During all of those murder cases, the judge just allowed me to sit at the trial table and make opening and. closing arguments to the juries. All without being an attorney. Let me leave you with a polite request:

Get off this board Yankee and take your domestic partner with you.

LOL. Can you read? If an attorney is "trying" a case, they are either a prosecutor, a defense attorney, or a judge.

And every time I've, they specify. I knew a few public defenders, and they say that.

You have studiously avoided saying what your role is. And you still haven't. So unless you could say you prosecuted cases, or you defended, or you were the judge, I can't really tell what you are saying.

Never attempt to take a man’s firearm away from him... It becomes self-defence and all other arguments become moot.

What if trying to take the shotgun away was an act of self defense?

You don’t attempt to take a man’s weapon away from him.

Not even if you are in fear for your life? You don't fight back?

Standing in a road with a shotgun is legal in Georgia

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Your replies on these threads reminds me of the latest hit video of Attorney General Barr’s response to the Flynn situation. All the libs conveniently edit out info vital to making a genuine evaluation of his response.

Did you miss the truck blocking the road that the dad with the shotgun was standing in the back of? And did you miss his son, also with a shotgun, standing next to the truck blocking the road? Do you think anything was said as the deceased approached the two men?

Let me put it this way. Let’s say a loved one was walking down that street. You are talking with the loved one by cell phone. The loved one says to you, “There is a pick up truck up in front of me. There is a man in the bed of the truck and one right outside of the truck. They both have shotguns and are looking right at me. What should I do?”

What is your answer and why?

The best argument (and the only one the dolts have), is self defense.

Which might be a hard case to make since they were by their own admission the instigators of the incident.
