What do mean “tried dozens of murder cases as a lawyer?” You weren’t a prosecutor or a defense attorney? How were you “trying” them?

You are correct. During all of those murder cases, the judge just allowed me to sit at the trial table and make opening and. closing arguments to the juries. All without being an attorney. Let me leave you with a polite request:
Get off this board Yankee and take your domestic partner with you.
And every time I've, they specify. I knew a few public defenders, and they say that.
You have studiously avoided saying what your role is. And you still haven't. So unless you could say you prosecuted cases, or you defended, or you were the judge, I can't really tell what you are saying.
