I guess the liberals don't care about the 4th Amendment. "Liberals" used to care. Progressives never did. To Progressives, any limit on government power is an affront to their core belief system.
To Progressives, government is god, or at least, god on earth.

That is spot on. Congress and the prosecutor are simply on a fishing expedition with zero crime or evidence of a crime on which to base their cases.
