Electorally, he is safe, alright, Hollyweirdistan being what it is. But Congress can determine not to seat a member who has behaved unethically. No chance during this Congress, but should the Republicans ride into control of the House on Trump’s coattails, immediately after the formalities, he should be frog-marched out the door and thrown into the street on his ear.
True, but the Republicans do not have the guts to do that and even though they would be justified because of what Schiff has done, they would be afraid the Dems would do the same to them next time they had the majority — and for no reason. I say tough, go fo it.
It takes 3/4th of the chamber to work an expulsion. It’ll never happen.
