Our problem is, even our Republican politicians - at least those who aspire to the office of governor, aren’t exactly Republicans or conservative. I know Tom Ridge pretty well and he’s a helluva nice guy, but we disagreed on pretty much everything but the Steelers, horses and beer. I once told him, “Tom, is raising taxes the answer to every question?”
