If you notice, Trump is very smart about public image and optics. He’s had a lot of media experience, and no doubt he’s very careful among a DC press-corps that hate him. As far as I can tell, there are no ridiculous photos of him eating ice cream or hot dogs, or hugging people, or dancing, etc… that one has seen with other politicians and even Presidents. He just doesn’t allow those situations to occur.

A mask would look ridiculous on so many levels, and Trump knows it.

I agree with you. Trump's political enemies are haranguing him to wear a mask because they would love to use the image against him in the campaign this fall.

Check out the images below of John Kerry. There is just no way to politically recover from the poor optics of these photos and Trump is smart enough to avoid putting himself in these situations.
