Hardly. Seeing as only the most rabid of the loony Left believe Trump responsible for the China virus or the economic shut down, you give far more credit to the loser left than is deserved.
You appear to be another pearl clutcher who like the others (the China Virus will kill us all) see;s only the worst of news.

Taking a realistic assessment of government spending, rising debt, tanking economy and affects therefrom isn’t pearl clutching. It’s called recognizing and addressing the problem and it is certainly not a win (yet).
I have never been a pearl clutcher about this virus thing from day one. I’ve never worn a mask or hid in the house.
The damage done to the economy will echo for a long time. It is not going to turn around on a dime. There are a lot of consequences that we will go thru.
We are still on lockdown or a partial one.
Trump really is kind of a supporting actor in this thing. What I'm finding very interesting is how Americans are finally discovering their Governors, whom the low-info types seldom give much thought to. The Governors are the ones who are calling the shots here, and the country is very quickly discovering which of them are smart, thoughtful and Constitutional, and which are tyrants who have just waited for a chance like this to show their stuff.
From what I've seen and heard lately, even the low-info rank-and-file Democrats who vote Democrat because Pappy and Grandpappy voted Democrat, are getting their first real look at how the new breed of Democrat Governors govern. And they're not real happy about it.
