You are wrong. You do not have to see a felony with your own eyes in order to have probable cause. If that were the standard, the police couldnt arrest anybody because they typically get called to the scene of the crime. So in another words, if a bank robbery took place, the cops couldnt pull the bank robbers over since they didnt actually witness the bank robbery. The Georgia statute specifically says the person can make a citizens arrest if they see a felony or its within their knowledge.
