A while ago, Puerto Rico had a thriving drug production business which closed up when some pro-business law there was ended. Don’t know the details. My son, who now lives there with his Puerto Rican wife and my grandchildren, says there is now a shut down 5 miles square industrial park that used to do this work. Perhaps we could help ourselves and Puerto Rico by reopening this park and changing the law back. Surely it is better and safer to give breaks to PR’s economy than to the Chinese economy. My son mentioned something about a new Law 52 or 54 which is supposed to help mainlanders who want to do something in PR.
