How’s all y’all Yankees and Northerners doing today? Is it cold?
My overnight low for my Southern Alabama location was 39 degrees!
Baby, that cold! For the Southland in May, that’s VERY cold.
Yes, it’s cold ... and I’m not a Yankee or a Northerner. We’ve got frost on the ground & a new cold record of 33 was set this morning. I have my garden covered with plastic & some individual plants covered with clay pots - no idea if they’ll make it (fingers crossed). Previously, in the last weeks, I’ve lost 3 of my 4 tomato plants & #4 is looking ‘punk’. I bought them early because our DemonRat governor was closing things down & I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to buy any - fortunately, although he’s BAD & a miserable, cowardly but arrogant jerk, he’s not quite as awful as Gestapo Gretchen. I think I’ve found a little country place where I can buy some plants to replant in the near future. It’s been a very chilly “spring”.
