What if the collusion delusion and the whole FISA process that used the ridiculous dossier was to cover up the massive spying scandal that occurred?
If, and I say if, the Obama administration was using the NSA database to spy on their opponents in an unprecedented fashion to include “contractors” hired by both the DNC and intel agencies it would be very scandalous.
FISA warrants are retroactive. Trump said “they wiretapped me.” What if the real intent of all of this was to try and cover up the spying at the start and it later morphed into the collusion delusion?
I doubt the big fish would go to jail, but what a stain this would be! Flynn, like Grenell is now, would be in a position to know all of this and blow the whistle.
I think Trump knows this. He has started tweeting some pretty strong stuff in the last week linking this to Obama saying there is much more to come out. Others who would know are saying this.....
The Flynn thing is bad enough on its own merits, but how much worse would all of this be if the unmasking and wiretapping, absent any warrants, were being done in a wholesale fashion by our own contractors?
What if they used our 5-eye partners to do it? Why would the head of British intel resign after Trump was elected? The Steele dossier? Nope. The Brits told us not to trust Steele so he had nothing to fear from that. What if they were being used to spy on our own people and sharing it with the NSA through a back-door that was then accessed by Fusion GPS, Crowdstrike, and others?
Just a WAG on my part for now, but it does seem to be the best explanation for the desperation to get Flynn/Trump. There is much more afoot in this thing than the Steele dossier and the collusion delusion, which in hindsight appears terribly amateurish and ridiculous on its face now.
Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell, has said that the IC went after Flynn because Flynn wanted to audit them. She has made claims about billions of dollars being used off the books for various programs.
Does this sound vaguely similar to the Clinton Foundation? Or for those who have been around longer, the BCCI scandal?
This may not just be about illegal surveillance.
