German intelligence says China asked the WHO to help it cover up COVID-19

German intelligence officials say they have obtained evidence that the Chinese government asked the World Health Organization to help it cover up the coronavirus outbreak in a finding that is sure to place no small amount of renewed pressure on Beijing.
In fact, Chinese President Xi Jinping personally asked the World Health Organization to delay the release of critical information early in the outbreak, German intelligence officials conclude.
Xi met with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on January 21 to request that he withhold information about human-to-human transition and delay the declaration of a global pandemic, according to German magazine Der Spiegel.

But, when I read a bunch of people on this discussion board, it’s all Dr. Fauci’s fault and if he is not around they blame Dr. Brix.

Whatever the motivation, it seems to me that Senator Cotton has been right about the CCP’s culpability.
He’s quoted in the linked article:
“...it’s clear to me that, once China realized how deadly this virus could be to some people and how contagious this virus was, that they made the conscious decision to let it get outside of their borders. They didn’t stop international air travel. They pressured countries not to impose travel restrictions,”
It’s not yet time to hold the CCP’s feet to the fire, but that time is coming. This is nothing less than an attack, by a hostile foreign power on, not just the US, but the entire world.
They must not be allowed to avoid justice for this. And president Trump is the man to lead the charge.
Cotton specializes in stern letters. Don’t hold your breath waiting for results from him. Especially with “friend of China” Mitch McConnell running the Senate.
Right now, I’ll settle for hot air from the Senate.
Trump already referred to this as an “attack”. CinC gets it, and has the media chops to sell the truth to the world.
It’s coming. I really think that this is simply too big to keep bottled up. The CCP is so used to killing their own people that they somehow didn’t think that killing 300K foreigners would be a big deal. But once you cross that line, things change.
Trump gets that, and it’s a message the rest of the world really needs to hear.
If Xi the Pooh falls, who replaces him? Hardliners may be even worse and could start WW3.
