Duh. It is not about control “now”. Why are Freepers continuing with that delusion? Is it to assuage their guilt for buying into tyranny right at the start ?
It has ALWAYS been about control. We have had one scare after another on top of numerous political crisis. This time the Progs cranked up the fear factor and Freepers went for it. Evidently you just needed a virus that targets Freepers who draw checks from the government. Then the will beg government to restrict rights.
Quibble. The left doesn’t see the virus as their chance to remake society. They see the reaction, especially of so called conservatives like the ones found here, to the virus as the reason the can implement the Prog agenda. The now know how to do it just go big on the scary numbers and use hockey stick graphs except explain that it will be Freepers who draw checks from the government dying. There isn’t any liberty they won’t force others give up to protect themselves.
Liberty evidently is not worth even the tiniest risk of dying. Our for ears are spinning. You know the 500,000 who died in WW2 defending liberty? They didn’t isolate the protect themselves.
Rat strategy: Lock up the makers that tend not to vote rat, so that many of them go bankrupt / lose their small businesses / become dependent on the gov’t. Give generously to the takers that do tend to vote rat, making taking look way more appealing than making. Thus a portion of the former makers become takers and thus more prone to vote rat, thus tanking bad orange man and bringing on commie utopia.
Rats have no understanding of how we that are outside of their craphole cities and states think and act. Not going to work, rats.
