I'm not sure exactly how the Federal courts system works but I've heard Joe DiGenova say that if any of these punks are brought to trial in a DC court there's no way they'll be convicted.
This statement makes sense to me given that DC went 90% for Chappaqua's Queen of Pantsuits.

I'm not sure exactly how the Federal courts system works but I've heard Joe DiGenova say that if any of these punks are brought to trial in a DC court there's no way they'll be convicted.Which is probably one of the main reasons why Flynn plead guilty: He knew if he went to trial the jury would convict him before lunch on all counts and then some, which would have resulted in a lengthy prison sentence.

Given the severity of the charges which include sedition and treason against the duly elected President,
would a military tribunal be appropriate in this case ?
I agree that the political demographics of Washington, D.C., it is unlikely to finding a fair jury for trial.
A move of trial venue to another location would seem to be appropriate.
