This is true. As said above, estimates are that Chinese suppliers make up 70-80 percent of Walmart's merchandise [for example], leaving less than 20 percent for American-made products.
I want Chinese items out of American stores, too.
There are tools that we don't make anymore. Go through the Chinese-full catalogs of Harbor Freight, Northern Tools, Grizzly, and others and then see if you can find the same items made in the USA.
The shelves and websites of Home Deport, Lowes, and Menards, too. They do have more USA products it seems, but it could be more.
I think McMaster-Carr and Grainger do seem more American, but it's hard to tell for sure.
I want Americans to remember that "Made in China" is our enemy.
