Ted Cruz gets haircut at Shelley Luther’s salon on first day of re-opening

“We’re thrilled to be with you and know the whole State of Texas is standing with you, so thank you for your courage,” Cruz told Luther.

Cruz told Luther he hasn’t had a haircut in about three months, and that his wife Heidi even warned he would “start bringing mullets back,” if he didn’t do something soon.

At one point during his visit, Luther started crying, thanking Cruz for his support, “When people reach out with true authenticity, it’s huge,” she said.

Luther told CBS 11 News, “It’s a nice gesture. His family actually called my boyfriend and prayed for him for 20 minutes while I was in jail. To me that’s not political… that’s just really nice people reaching out and making sure that our family is okay.”

I have no problem with Ted as a Senator from Texas.
He is not a natural born citizen and if he is half the Constitutional scholar he claims to be, he knows it.

Same here. If Trump wasn’t running back then I would vote for Ted. I dont get the hatred for Ted. Sometimes he’s an ass but most of the time, he’s on the right.

I was for Cruz as well. Met him when he visited my area. He’s was the only candidate on either side that had any grasp of the fact that the government is not permitted to do anything it wants. I can’t remember the last candidate that even paid lip service to this.

For some, probably a lot, of us it wasn’t Ted but his mean spirited supporters here on FR that caused us to change a mild dislike of him into hatred .

How he was able to bring out the black, evil side of people was quite a marvel.
