Former China Ambassador Baucus: Trump's Over The Top "Red-Baiting" Rhetoric Is "Like Hitler In The 30s"
RCP video ^ | 5-8-2020 | Ian Schwartz

President Obama's ambassador to China and former Senator Max Baucus (D-MT) said President Trump's rhetoric is so "over the top" against China. In an interview with CNN, Baucus accused the president of "red-baiting" like Joe McCarthy and lamented that if anyone says "anything reasonable about China" they feel that their head is going to be chopped off (emphasis mine). The former ambassador went on to liken Trump's anti-China rhetoric to Hitler in the 1930s.

"There are a lot of very responsible people in America who know that this China bashing is irresponsible, and we're going to pay a price, the more it continues," he warned. "That's what I'm saying. But they're afraid to speak up." "The administration's rhetoric is so strong against China," Baucus said. "It's over the top. We're entering a kind of an era which is similar to Joe McCarthy back when he was red-baiting the State Department, attacking communists."

"A little bit like Hitler in the '30s. A lot of people knew what was going on was wrong. They knew it was wrong, but they didn't stand up and say anything about it. They felt intimidated. Now in the United States, if anyone says anything reasonable about China, he or she feels intimidated, afraid his head is going to be chopped off," Baucus stated.

Baucus called "China bashing" irresponsible and if it continues "we're going to pay a price."

Maybe his time spent in China changed that. I wonder how Montana-ians(?) view him now.

And since then many, many businessmen in numerable countries have got their 30 pieces of silver from the ChiComs.

I actively discriminate against products made in Communist countries given the chance. Even “Made in Mexico” is better than “made in China”.

The Dims, from Billary Inc. to Obama and his cabal must owe a lot to the dictatorship in China. And now China is calling in its markers with them.

If we had a true “national” intelligence community, instead of one that has been acting as a mere virtual arm of the Democrats, our intelligence would be informing Trump of just how deeply the cabal of the Dim elite is in league with the cabal in Beijing. Maybe that is what the Dims feared Flynn would uncover if he got the reins over our intelligence community.

“Joe was right about the commies.”

That has been proven time and time again. There was a huge concerted commie propaganda effort to discredit him and other anti-communist fighters. This has been documented authoritatively many times.

***The former ambassador went on to liken Trump’s anti-China rhetoric to Hitler in the 1930s. ***

Anyone who has read up on Chinese history will realize that during the 1930s Hitler and Germany were sending lots of aid to China.

strange. I am copying the link from the Wikipedia page, but the link says there is no such article, yet I have the page up on my computer. You have to hit the “Did you mean....”link on that page.

I was listening to Steve Bannon’s podcast this morning when he had Bill Gertz on. The number of people in this country on China’s payroll is frightening.

A Democrat comparing Trump to Hitler. Who'd've thunk it?

Actually, are there any prominent Democrats who have not compared Trump to Hitler?

The former ambassador went on to liken Trump's anti-China rhetoric to Hitler in the 1930s.

Is it?

Or is it more like Churchill in the 1930s?

Lost the argument with the first sentence.

Give us some Hitler quotes that fit or shut up, Max.

“Actually, are there any prominent Democrats who have not compared Trump to Hitler?”

Are there any Trump critics comparing PDJT to Hitler who have then been arrested, sent to death camps, gassed, & then incinerated in ovens?

Then fuggedaboudit, he’s not Hitler!

FWIW, Max Baucus was U.S. envoy to the ChiComs for three years, having been appointed by Obama. Among diplomats his current attitude is called “going native” and is regarded as highly unprofessional.

Anyone who criticizes Communism or any communist is “just like Hitler and McCarthy”. Got it.

And how much money did you make Senator Baucus, on the deals you cut with the Chi-Coms?

Joe McCarthy was right. He was flawed but I don’t think he would believe how so many American lips are on the Chicom shlong and treasonus whores of the CCP.
