From what I have read, the general flow of what happened in reality was pretty much how they displayed it in the movie, but all the dialogue and all that, well, it WAS a dark comedy...:)

Let’s not jump to conspiracy conclusions. I’d wager those three doctors were sure the hand sanitizer was just vodka, drank it, became confused and stumbled out open windows.
