EXCLUSIVE: Dallas salon owner Shelley Luther, who was ordered jailed for seven days Tuesday after she violated a local coronavirus-related business closure order, joined "Hannity" for an interview Thursday, hours after her release.

Luther said she is feeling much better after being allowed to go back home, and told host Sean Hannity she stands by her decision not to apologize as instructed by state District Judge Eric Moye.

"That was the last thing I was going to do, honestly," she said. " ... I just couldn't, I couldn't bring myself to apologize."

How can anyone apologize for tying to work hard to feed her children?
This deranged judge...he is still getting his pay right? As regular as clockwork.

This. You can't claim you live in a free country if some random judge can make you grovel and kiss his butt for doing nothing wrong.
it's the long mass lockdowns that are illegal, not a woman trying to open her shop to offer a perfectly legitimate service.

A forced apology under duress is not an apology anyway. It's an act of force, to publicly humiliate. That attorney of hers needs to file a federal suit, like yesterday.

It is not that uncommon in judicial circles.

I have always thought it was wrong.

I used to think that judges were supposed to protect the rights of the accused in a trial.

This judge was more concerned about protecting his fellow elected elites from the people by demanding that the accused apologize to the politicians.

Good on her. Stand up for your principles.

The black robed thugs need to be challenged at every corner. They do not write law, the preside over it.

Just releasing her from jail is not enough. None of this is going to be a satisfactory. Let her out of jail on ridiculous charges and punishment and nothing happens to the judge? That is creating more outrage than the intial wrongdoing. The list is ever growing. Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, Kamala Harris, Biden, Hillary, Bill Clinton, all of the MSM, the FBI crooks, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Nadler, Schiff, Eric Moye, Whitmer, Northam, Newsome, Cuomo and many, many others.

They and the rest like them keep pushing toward an "over the cliff" paradigm and so many people simply do not see the gravity of the situation. I have never in my life seen nor read about this country being in this much danger of breaking out into one of the worst civil wars the world has ever seen. This is not an exaggeration. If these liberal leftists ever manage to get any semblance of control again, imagine what they are going to do to conservatives. This nation is completely screwed. A clear cut example is the protest against Whitmer and she doubled down against it. If people can not see the writing on the wall after that, they're blind.

That is EXACTLY right.

Hold that idiot’s feet to the fire and make him defend why he did that.

He needs to be removed from the bench, censured or disbarred- whatever they can do to make sure he understands he doesn’t represent the American judicial system and can never do it again.

“I used to think that judges were supposed to protect the rights of the accused in a trial.”

Um, no. They are there to keep the lawyer business growing. Same as legislatures.

My grandfather was a judge for 37 years.

The KKK burned a cross in his yard one night - told him to find that N——r guilty of murder or he (my GF) would be hanged the next night.

He found the man innocent (not a jury trial) and one of the fellas with the white hats was arrested, tried, found guilty of murder an hanged before the year was out.

Judges are different today...
