No he isn’t. Disagreeing with Trump does not make somebody a deep state operative. Barr is right to be concerned. It would be more prudent to have a replacement in place before totally scuttling the act. Bad as it is. The voter’s perception is more important with the election coming up
Barr has no business making political calculations. He is AG and not POTUS.
He is one of the president’s advisors. That includes advising him on how legal actions taken by the president could have a political ramifications. Because it is all politics in the company town of D.C. Barr wants Trump to win. I do too.
