Heh, I have to admit, the whole scene was hilarious where Khrushchev is confiding to General Zhukov about what must be done to Stalin, and Zhukov indignantly says to him “I will have to report this to the authorities!” and when Khrushchev turns white, Zhukov roars with laughter “You should have seen your face!”
All theater, but THAT was pretty funny!
Man. How does one make a comedy out of that material???
Really! It was funny because the paranoia that their system depended on was true, hence it was funny.
Just add music and a few dance steps and you have “Springtime for “Stalin”
