That's just the problem. To get OANN, Amazon Prime, etc. I have to figure out how all this streaming stuff works. We don't have a ROKU or Apple TV yet. Many people we know don't either.

Our flat screen TV is nearly 10 years old... That will probably have to be replaced, too. It is not a Smart TV.

Does your flat screen TV have an HDMI inlet?

Roku is very easy. It’s plug and play.

Get a smart tv. Technology has come a long way. The picture quality is like night and day you will be amazed.

Roku is crazy easy. You won’t need a Smart TV. The Roku will plug into the hdmi port on your tv.

...figure out how all this streaming stuff works.

I’m a dummy, but it was pretty straightforward.

Buy Roku (inexpensive).
Set up account online.
Follow online directions, mainly enter code from TV into computer.
Subscribe online to whatever you want and usually also enter code.
Pay monthly via credit card. 1 device: $9.98

Any problems, you can just search online for answer and so far, there has always been one easy to implement.

“I have to figure out how all this streaming stuff works.”

Slowly I’ve figured out a few things, but it’s basically a mystery to me, too. We do Prime and Youtube, but nothing more. I know there’s a whole world of stuff out there to be had, and that we’re missing out on some.

Smart TVs are so inexpensive now, and it opens up a lot of interesting stuff. I especially like to go to Youtube and watch Trump rallies on 65”.

I refuse to watch movies on my laptop or my “device” (assume that means cell phone, tablet, etc.) I want to see things as big as possible.
