We are unable to stop the virus. That is a given.
Shutting down the economy was designed to slow the virus down so hospitals would not be overwhelmed.
Now is the time for a little common sense.

That’s exactly right.
That’s exactly what the president asked us to do, and why.
That goal was achieved. Obviously, the virus remains, and we are going to have to deal with it ongoing, but our knowledge is improving on the virus and how best to treat it.
Anything beyond that original flatten the curve goal is a morphing into something sinister, Leftists are behind it, and it’s about the November election IMO.
