Political coverage tends to cut only one way at the D.C.-based news website The Hill, and it's not the pro-liberty way. That's why it was more than a little surprising to see the site run what quickly became their top-trending article – a piece by Stanford University's Hoover Institution Senior Fellow Scott Atlas, MD.
Atlas's credentials include a stint as the head of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center. In other words, he knows medicine, understands disease, and respects science. He also argues that the data we have now accumulated tells us that isolation must end, and the public fear-mongering about COVID-19 needs to stop now.
[snip] Herd immunity, or at least healthy immune systems, require human interaction. Prolonging it not only fails to decrease the chance of eventually picking up this novel coronavirus anyway, it also dramatically increases the chance of picking up something else down the road due to weakened and underdeveloped immune systems.

When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor for chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!
When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.
WAKE UP PEOPLE — If you think this is all about your health you’re mistaken! Please open your eyes! Stop being lead like blind sheep.”
Tell that to Sonny Cuomo - he has figured out how make big Federal $$$ off of the Virus victims. It will never end in NY.

Birx was on the tube yesterday saying that the only reasonable context for talking about herd immunity was on the subject of vaccines.
So that's the POV of the entrenched.
