My question has always been, why has it taken people so long to come to this conclusion?

I saw the shutting down of businesses and laying people off as devastating to the economy from the get go, not just during this lockdown period but for years to come.

Any astute person could see the damage this was going to do to our country and to Trump's reelection in November.

Thank God the democRATS have a three time loser as the nominee (at least for now), not a deep bench to play with to replace him with and enough time for the voters to see how their lives and livelihoods will be altered by these draconian lockdowns, mainly by the liberals politicians.

Otherwise, Trump could be in trouble. But leave it to the democRATS to stumble badly themselves and reveal their weaknesses in dealing with this virus as a political football and not a medical issue.

Socialism, communism, authoritarianism, tyranny, it doesn't matter what you call it, is on full display and the liberals are hard at it, practicing their dictatorship skills while they can.

But I've been saying all along, this virus is going to still be around after this lockdown. It is not going away because you stay in your homes. Many people will die from it, but a whole lot more will recover from it. Others will get it and hardly notice it. We will become immune to it and go on to the next virus that comes along and life will move on. That's the way it has always been and always will be.

We've shot ourselves in the foot to try and treat a hangnail on our small toe. Our response has done more long-term damage to the country than the actual bug itself. Why didn't people see this early on?

We went out today to go hiking at a park and I haven’t seen so much traffic in a while. People are done with this. I saw an article yesterday that said Apple and Google’s location analytics from their phone devices are showing more people out and about as well.

You can’t keep an entire population on house arrest forever...

Well, there is that restaurant owner in Maine who opened up FRiday.

I am hoping that the Maine restaurant owner, Rick Savage, can find a FRiendly judge who will rule the Governor overstepped her bounds and allow him to re-open!
