That’s my understanding too, that the qualifications for being President and Vice President are the same.

So if someone is ineligible to be elected president then he or she would also be ineligible to be elected vice president.

Since Obama has already been elected president twice he’s ineligible to be elected president again.

Then again I know the 22nd amendment does not address the specific issue of being elected vice president. I think it is stated elsewhere in our laws, that one must be eligible to be president to also be vice president.

Without going into it to ‘deeply’ I came away understanding that the wording is such that it says one can’t be ELECTED to a 3rd term but (possibly) could succeed if in line???

Which leaves the question..Can an ‘ineligible’ person be elected to the #2 spot???

Kind of like the depends what is is or
“NO, I was never in the WH alone with her, there was always a guard or such around...” BULLSCHIFF and lawyerspeak -but I repeat myself-has taken over..<: <:

Rules etc had no bearing for his first 2 terms why should it interfere with the next one...Bet he is ‘sorry’ he didn’t have the shut the planet down scenario, have a feeling if he did, we would be talking about a 2025 opening..maybe
