Federal prosecutors are examining emails between Dr. Vladimir Zev Zelenko a Hasidic doctor touting the controversial drug hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for Covid-19 and a right-wing political commentator, the Washington Post reported.
Zelenko is currently collaborating with Jerome Corsi, a commentator best known for propagating the falsehood that President Barack Obama was born outside the U.S., on a website that connects people with doctors. Zelenko is listed as a medical adviser on the site.
Zelenko has become a frequent presence on conservative media, from Fox News to Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giulianis podcast (the two speak almost daily, according to Giuliani) to Corsis own podcast. According to the Post, he has been in contact with Rep. Mark Meadows, Trumps chief of staff, about the results he claims to have obtained from treating hundreds of patients at his family practice in upstate New York with hydroxychloroquine. Zelenko claims that his treatment regiment which also includes an antibiotic and a zinc supplement has resulted in almost no hospitalizations among his outpatient clients. However his claims have not been independently verified by medical officials.
The examination of the emails began after Corsi accidentally emailed Aaron Zelinsky instead of Zelenko. Zelinsky was a member of Special Counsel Robert Muellers team, and spent months probing Corsis discussions with former Trump operative Roger Stone about Wikileaks. (Corsi was not charged with a crime; Stone was sentenced in February to three years in prison on several felony counts.)
Through the beginning of April, Trump touted hydroxychloroquine as a potential gift from God in treating Covid-19. Yet recent studies have suggested that the drug provides no benefit in treating advanced cases of the disease, and in some studies is associated with higher risk of death than other treatments.
Zelenko has remained confident in his treatment regimen, and says he is preparing a peer-reviewed study based on his outpatient use of the drug with over 1,000 people. Zelenkos patients are predominantly Hasidic Jews who live in and around Kiryas Joel, N.Y.
My question exactly! It was made "controversial" by the media only because Trump mentioned it as possibly being of help in Coronavirus. The media made it controversial --- it is NOT controversial.
....Zelenko is currently collaborating with Jerome Corsi, a commentator best known for propagating the falsehood that President Barack Obama was born outside the U.S....
what was false was obama’s fake birth certificate.
Why is it the business of Federal prosecutors just who Dr.Zelenko chooses to communicate with via e mail? Dr. Zelenko has been very up front on what he is doing and what he believes to be true and effective. The Federal government has immense power and as we have seen, it is easily abused. Hopefully Dr. Zelenko has a lawyer who has advised him to not speak to anyone from law enforcement.
They’re interested in who Corsi communicated with since he is associated with Stone.
Zelenko is listed as a medical adviser on the site.

Does anyone know the url/address of that site?
I really wish to get ahold of Dr. Corsi or anyone who can connect me with hydroxychloroquine.
It may be needed. (Thank you in advance.)
......... well said.
More evil from the deep state.
Or, the FBI is still spying on Corsi and it wasn’t accidental.
Or, Corsi for whatever reason did it deliberately to stir the pot and make the Democrats go into hysterics again.
Most likely he goofed, but it was worth noting.
Fixer Barr strikes again.
What reason would a federal prosecutor have for looking at the doctor’s email? Is he going to stop the doctor from saving lives? I wouldn’t put anything past these corrupt haters. Corrupt prosecutors should be tried and hung if found guilty. Putting innocent people in prison is as bad as murder. The people in general Flynn’s case should swing from trees.
Zelenko. Is that name Russian? Russia russia russia.
Just a tiny detail, of no relevance, but... Kiryas Joel. Is THIS what they're calling "Upstate New York"?
Kinda like calling Ft. Lauderdale "upstate Florida".
Coincidentally there is a hospital that is going to do a study on the regimen on patients just coming down with covid19 rather than people with one foot already in the grave:

Trotsky's grandson.
Just another operative for the Pharisees.
It is apparent from the tone of the article that the author is a progressive lib and probably from the deep part of the swamp.
But the real question is: Why is searching the doctor’s emails any different than tracking General Flynn?
I know the legal difference, so don’t bother with getting off on that tangent.
I am questioning the ethics of the government scanning a person’s personal email for something with which to charge him when the person has not committed a crime by expressing a professional opinion.
Or are we now to the point that stating a professional opinion can be labeled a crime?
RE: , but... Kiryas Joel. Is THIS what they’re calling “Upstate New York”?
I don’t know what Upstate in NY is anymore. Sometimes, every place NORTH of the city is called upstate no matter how close to NYC it is.
Dr. Fauci doesnt make money on some old drug. Hes got to have a company that he has interest in make a drug that might be perceived to work. Of course a vaccine that you are forced to take is the end game. Bill Gates, Dr Birx and Fauci have big interest in seeing that done. So Dr Fauci will find a way to scare everyone until you take the vaccine and digital tattoo.
