WASHINGTON — With the US economy faltering, President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign is switching gears and launching a seven-figure ad blitz heralding “a great American comeback,” The Post has learned.

The weeklong, nationwide advertising campaign beginning Sunday will praise the president’s handling of the coronavirus crisis and provide an “inspirational message about the unyielding resolve of Americans,” a senior campaign official said Thursday.

Low unemployment and a roaring financial market had been the bedrock of Trump’s campaign, but with unemployment claims reaching 30 million in the past month, the campaign will begin focusing on the tax cuts, deregulation and job creation the president ushered in before the crisis.

And who better to bring us back than the man who brought us there before. Certainly not creepy, corrupt, perverted Joe.

forces Sleepy Joe to respond, but doubtful if he can given his limited funds...

It would be foolish to waste money on Biden now. Money better spent would be showcasing the Democrats’ two-faced #MeToo reactions of Biden v Kavanaugh. If Biden does secure the nomination there’s plenty of time to hammer him before November.

Yeah, no matter what, he can make a label stick. “Comeback” is going to be the buzzword of the campaign.

“as election looms”

The election is half a year away. The left wants us to believe it’s next week so they can push this voting by mail BS, but 6 months from now is quite a long time for us to over come this virus terror attack by the deep state where we won’t need a voting system that can be easily rigged.

Ditto. The Trump KAGA Train needs to go down the right track.

...voting by mail BS...

Questions:

1) Doesn’t the administration control Federal Elections? Don’t any changes need to be enacted by Congress and signed by POTUS?

2) How can any law enacted this summer effect the 2020 General Election? Don’t such laws usually apply in the next cycle?

3) Can a new Congress enact legislation to counteract something rammed through by the previous one?

I understand that municipalities and states can enact laws affecting local elections. However, if egregious laws are enacted under cover of COVID, would the DOJ then activate US Attorneys, as threatened, if such laws were unconstitutional or seen as overreaching?

Trump & Barr have put states/cities on notice wrt to sanctuary and unsafe criminal laws that do not protect citizens. Both litigation and funding have been raised against them. McConnell has stated no Senate acquiescence to bankruptcy for states.

Investigations are ongoing against USPS regarding ballot mishandling

GOP has made it clear vote-by-mail is not going to pass and Trump has already raised the possibility of reductions in USPS funding, especially in light of favoritism toward Amazon.

I do see where some Governors are going to stall on reopening and continue to issue edicts, especially in deep blue states with prog legislatures, but that sends us back to DOJ and US Attorneys intervening.

In the interim, more and more is going to drop about prog collusion, international coordination, and treason in this entire pandemic. Not to mention ongoing revelations about the Russia Collusion coup hoax and the sham impeachment.

Progs don’t stand a chance. They do not hold winning hands and they are shedding supporters. The ones left standing are loud and organized, but the numbers aren’t there.
