It worked for Michigan: A Michigan court on Wednesday ruled that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's (D) stringent stay-at-home order in response to the coronavirus outbreak does not violate residents' constitutional rights, denying a motion for a preliminary injunction. A group of five Michigan residents filed a lawsuit against the governor and other state officials claiming that the quarantine measures infringed on their constitutional rights to procedural and substantive due process. They also alleged that the state's Emergency Management Act was unconstitutional. The Michigan Court of Claims rejected both allegations, ruling that an injunction against Whitmer's order would not serve the public interest, "despite the temporary harm to plaintiffs constitutional rights."

Why do you insist on KJV Biblical certainty in what are uncertain times?

It seems as if whenever the deadlines for these stay at home orders arrive, that they then extend another 15 days. So then they can say, well, it’s just another 15 days from now, which ignores how long these orders have been in place.

They must appeal this. The MI SC still has a conservative majority.

Hey, Nevada, he’s suspending your constitutional rights AND destroying you economically AND now has the imprimatur of the courts, all in full view.

He’s right up there with the RINO Governor of Arizona, who doesn’t think the time is right to reduce the restrictions.
In my county of 210,000, there are 105 reported cases of infection, with seven deaths. For this, all businesses are, for the most part, shut down.

May 15th will he open the state or just push it to May 30th?
May 30th will he open the state or just push it to June 15th?
Over and over again, just 2 more weekd for 18 months or 2 years?
If Trump gets reelected will he shut the state down for 4 more years?

Exactly...why dont a few Las Vegas resorts open? Require employees report for work. Grow a set. This situation of allowing the state run your business isnt going to go away. Act now or forever hold your peace.

It does, meanwhile thousands of businesses are dying or dead.
Did the plaintiffs have a choice of venues I wonder.
