How to fight Covid-19.
1. Do absolutely nothing but normal life.
2. Problem solved.
The bottom line is that the Wuhan Flu is not that devastating to the vast majority of citizens. The fatality rate among healthy individuals is the same as the rate for other flu-related illnesses, even with the vaccine.
Of course, the Democrat Party got their biggest in-kind donation in history, and in fact may even put them over the line this fall in Congress if they get their REAL objective, federal mail-in voting. What used to be called vote stealing, vote harvesting has been perfected in California in 2018, flipping 20 elections (8 US House and 12 state legislative) that were originally won by Republicans and lost to Democrats in ensuing vote counts. This is not incidental; it also led to Sinema winning in the US Senate in Arizona. With a federal mandate, it would be hard-pressed for the Republicans to ever win at the federal level, and once the Dems have all of Congress and the presidency at once, the country is over as they will go all-out Virginia on us.
Wuhan Flu? The biggest diversion in human history. Bar none.
Precisely right about the voting. 18 was just the test run and the rats stole at least 1 Governor, 2 maybe 3 Senate seats, 20+ house seats and countless important down ballots races. They came within a whisker 2 additional Governors and another Senate seat and this was just proof of concept. They get Mail voting and we lose EVERYTHING.

Actually with our influenza patients we have been using masks and using droplet precautions in my ICU. Standard CDC policy. If they are extra “goopy” especially during cprs and intubations, face shields and gowns too...yes even for influenza!
My wife is stranded in Taiwan right now with no safe way to get home.
Everyone wears a mask. You walk through a mist of disinfectant to enter a store. Given hand sanitizer upon entering said store. Mobile people taking peoples temp on the streets. Anyone infected is placed in quarantine with an ankle bracelet. If you break quarantine you are fined 1,000,000 NT or $30,000. US. They have even taken peoples houses for paying the fine.
Anyone entering the country is place in a 14 day quarantine. They have had around 400 cases and 6 deaths total. Taiwan is a lot more crowded than the USA.
Problem getting home is having to dly through Japan and who knows who would be on the plane for the 14 hr flight across the pond to get here.

Are most stores open in Taiwan? And are most people back at work using that protocol?

AHA! That explains why the people who developed it absolutely flipped out when it was detected outside their lab!
China certainly pulled out all the stops. They devastated their own economy, locked down a city of 11 million, welded tens of thousands into their apartment buildings, built open ward 1000 bed "hospitals" with no medical facilities or toilets (Like the Nazi "showers" with no floor drains!), imported 40 industrial incinerators for 'medical waste', and most damning of all, banned all air travel from Wuhan to any other Chinese destination, while allowing free travel to other countries.
They knew. They KNEW! and they wanted to take down the rest of the world with them.
The only saving grace appears to be that COVID-19 shares the high mutation rate of other corona viruses that prevent a vaccine for the corona viruses that cause the common cold, and it is rapidly mutating to progressively milder forms.

Taiwan is the SAFEST country in the world regarding Coronavirus, so she’s best staying there. They quickly limited outside contacts and quarantined all incomers (except for some infected Taiwanese navy ships that slipped in recently, and people are probably heading to jail over it). Of course they require masks - FluBros would not do well there demanding their ‘right’ to infect others. And, of course, no spreading of the virus - even with their subways and buses running.
They will eventually loosen up, but by then there will likely be effective treatments and maybe vaccines.

Yep, but Taiwan was the one country that wasn’t about to listen to China’s ‘happy words’.
