I let my Costco membership expire after one year, well before this current masked ball farce began. Their policy of constantly shifting product week to week, with no signs on the aisles, and with many very good items available one week and never to be seen again the next, became infuriating. If their competitors BJ’s and Sam’s Club are smart they’ll go only as far as bandito masks for customers being “suggested”, not “required”.
It was not needed for the last 3 months and it is not needed now.

It is, kind of, my own fault because I foolishly believed the "experts", at the beginning of this thing, that masks really didn't protect you from the virus. So, I didn't jump on the bandwagon to buy one. Now, they are simply not available.
Also, I have a strong complaint against Costco and their, supposed, "senior hours". I now belong to that group, so imagine my surprise when "senior hours" actually means, anyone. The lines are just as long, and filled with many, many people who are obvioulsy NOT 60 yo and above. If they are not going to enforce the age restriction, then quit saying you are offering "senior hours" when you are not.
First they required shoes. Then it was shirts. And now masks.
Another weakling succumbing to the current trend of FASCISM.

We were just in Costco last night (I made this point on another thread). Employees were not wearing their face coverings correctly. Many have their noses uncovered. Others lift up the mask from the bottom to talk. Some had their masks completely pulled down around their necks. And others weren’t wearing a mask at all.
As I recall, there was a statement that was made sometime ago from a health care professional, that the most of the masks were basically useless.
Country is looking more like the people running around China every damn day!!
I’ll wear a mask when something serious comes along.

I made an attractive mask that is comfortable and completely useless. A placebo to not call attention to myself. Yeah yeah...I’m wearing a mask like a good little citizen...
No Costco for me and I do have a membership. I will be contacting them to see if I can get a refund for the time I am unable to shop there due to this ridiculous rule.
I’ve been thinking about this topic. Was I ever a touchy feely person, no. Did I ever like salad bars, no. I never did like being in someone else’s personal space anyway. If it takes wearing a mask to let me freely move about again, I’ll wear it. I’m not gonna like it mind you but I’ll wear it. Might try to find a Trump2020 mask to piss off the sheeple. I’m not relinquishing one more right after this, not one.
