That thing is 46-years-old!

And it was within its design parameters to be able to run for several more decades!

You may get 25 years from a solar panel before it's no longer viable, 20 years from a wind turbine before the entire assembly needs replaced.

And wind turbines need to be replaced in 20-30 years, and the multi-ton blades are not recyclable.
