Bravo to a man who understands the Constitution and is fighting “FOR THE PEOPLE” not against them. That would be Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols of Maine.

A battle is brewing between the County and the State of Maine after Maine’s Democrat Governor Janet Mills issued a very strict “stay at home” order.

I’m sure my Canadian-American aunt is falling all over to follow orders.

She just had to tell me, out of the blue in ‘15, how the local Moslems are such wonderful people and showed the local paper to prove it to me. Hell, I didn’t even know there was a Moslem infestation in inland Maine until her liberal self had to counteract my apparently obvious conservatism!

The Sheriff was doing real good until he said “What we will take action on, if needed – are those rare situations where there are a lot of people overtly hanging out in public – obviously in defiance of the Governor’s order.” He came close to praiseworthy but fell short of the glory.

Yes my aunt and uncle (RIP) lived on a mountain up near Hartford on their tree farm. My aunt is really a wonderful woman but is still delusional. Seems bent on thinking all people are really wonderful.
