Pompeo pushes China to provide access to Wuhan labs over coronavirus outbreak

WASHINGTON - U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday again pushed China to provide the world access to its virology labs in Wuhan, saying the world needed to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic originated and Beijing had an obligation to be transparent.

“We still haven’t gained access, the world hasn’t gained access to the WIV (Wuhan Institute of Virology) there. We don’t know precisely where this virus originated from,” Pompeo told a news conference at the State Department, and added that U.S. concerns over the safety of Chinese labs persisted.

“There are multiple labs that are continuing to conduct work, we think, on contagious pathogens inside of China today and we don’t know if they are operating at a level of security to prevent this from happening again,” Pompeo said.

“The Chinese Communist Party tells us they want to be our partners. ... There is a continuing obligation on the part of reliable partners to share this information,” he added.

1. The virus escaped from the Wuhan lab. The research may have been legitimate research or bio weapons research, we do not know.

2. The damn bats that carried the virus were 800 miles away from Wuhan. These bats were taken to Wuhan for study. They bats were not part of the Wuhan wet market.

3. I very much doubt this was a biological weapon as China did not have the cure. One does not release a weapon unless one is immune to the weapon. I suspect this disease is a result of research with poor controls that then got loose to the world. Sometimes it is best to just leave the bats alone least we release a plague on the world.

4. China shut down Wuhan most logically. They also knew at the same time the virus has infected all of China.

5. China knew they were to take a huge economic hit due to the virus.

6. China decided to let the rest of the world take the same economic hit. Thus as they quarantined Wuhan from China they allowed international flights from Wuhan to all parts of the world. This was biological warfare not by design but by default.

7. China is the first nation on earth to use biological warfare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS WAS AN ACT OF WAR!
