A couple of days ago my Costco had no chicken and almost no Pork of any kind. I have never seen that before. A lot of the meat they did have was Grey. Usually Costco has fantastic meat which always looks fantastic. I thought we might have a couple weeks before shortages / interruptions. Went to Wal Mart and Winco and they had Chicken & good selection of meats.
My opinion is that we are already seeing hiccups in supply. It will get worse before it gets better. If your stores have meat, buy it now.
Denver ‘burb. Have not been able to get country ribs for past 3 weeks at King Soopers. Yesterday, after getting our weekly curbside, we stopped at Safeway. Picked up 3 packs of country ribs.
