I'll never forget the first caution that I had ever seen in the read file in our shop overseas around 1979 against wearing soft contact lenses and looking at a wedding torch. It said the guy tried to remove his contact lens and his cornea was removed with it. Yikes!

Don’t ask how I know but I seemed to have learned far too much from “experience”. I really did spend far too much time in ERs as a young guy.
