China's foreign ministry on Tuesday accused the United States of "lying through their teeth" and suggested the country mind its own business as the war of words between the world's two biggest economic powers escalated.
"We advise American politicians to reflect on their own problems and try their best to control the [coronavirus] epidemic as soon as possible instead of continuing to play tricks to deflect blame," spokesman Geng Shuang said.
The comments came on the heels of President Trump suggesting in a press conference on Monday that the U.S. would be seeking "substantial" compensation for China's handling of the global pandemic.

The blame is right where it belongs
Trying to intimidate Australia into shutting up about the China virus. Figures. Now why don’t they try that with Trump?
China, like the Democrats, cannot get used to a USA with a REAL PRESIDENT...!!!
Tear up the trade deal and jack the tariffs up to 100% on ALL goods shipped from China. Supply chains will move quite quickly.
The President should address the nation and ask Americans to stop buying anything that says Made in China. Time for the ChiComs to go back to life in the early 1970s.
As long as we keep them afloat, the CCP will stay in power. Time to change that.
Because at least 90% of australia would be chinese territory within a matter of a few weeks.
The tariffs significantly went up for China. They know it and that’s why they are freaking out.
Why just 100%
500% to start. Than raise them again, ì they are still running a massive trade deficit.
Or else simply start with 1000%
The Chines also got caught flying tons of PPE out of Australia in the early stages of the epidemic. They instructed all Chinese business managers living in AU to scour the pharmacies, hime improvement stores, big box stores, anything they could find, buy it and get it out of the country.
Once again, in a flash, China goes from panda face to dragon face.
Yep. 100% should be the minimum tariffs they see.
See flak? You are over target!
CCP is worried about future, trying all methods to avoid bad outcomes. Threats are always natural to authoritarian regimes as are bribes and blackmail. The next year will be interesting for the World vs China!
Good advice no matter where it comes from.
When (overpopulated) China threatens (underpopulated) Australia (with its vast resources), the Aussies would be wise to perk up and pay attention.
The decadence of Western Civilisation may have seemed like a harmless self-indulgence to many, but there is nothing harmless or good about it, and the sooner the West wakes up to reality, the better the future will be for their children and the rest of the world.
We don’t have to wait for our government.
Americans can stop buying Made in China immediately.
From the ChiCom perspective, Australia and New Zealand are nearly uninhabited virgin lands, ripe for conquest and colonization.
For argument’s sake, what if?
1. The virus was a globalist operation let loose in Wuhan to frame the Chinese? There were a lot of Western interests in that lab, including a leading Scientist from Harvard and Fauci himself. How did the virus spread so quickly and lethally from one “leak,” with what we know about it now?
2. What if that was China’s conclusion as well? So they stopped travel to other parts of China but lashed out at the rest of the world and permitted their infected citizens to infect Europe and the US as well.
Just thoughts—but we’ve been had before and led down a path that led to disaster based on false, manipulated assumptions. We need at least to be ready to assimilate contradictory ideas. There is no bottom to the depth the Globalists will sink. We are seeing that now more plainly than ever.
There’s certainly no limit to the depths of depravity to which Leftist will descend, and any idea deserves consideration.
Wondering if we can get enough from China to largely finance the problems we’ve had here that were caused by their virus???
