So that long farewell from Bernie Sanders wasn't such a long farewell.
Actually, Bernie never left the race, even though he said he had suspended his campaign, and New York state, doing what seemed logical, called off its one-candidate primary.
Now Joe Biden has another problem.
Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign blasted the New York State Board of Elections announcement on Monday that his name would not appear on the ballot for the state's presidential primary in June, calling the move an "outrage" and "a blow to American democracy."
"Just last week Vice President Biden warned the American people that President Trump could use the current crisis as an excuse to postpone the November election. Well, he now has a precedent thanks to New York state," Sanders 2020 senior adviser Jeff Weaver said in a statement.

No 4th home for Bernie
“Guess the check hasn’t cleared after all.”
Yep - the cuckold Bernie crew is still hard at it.
"Quick. Call in my claim for taxpayer stimulus money."
Bernie is lazy.
Bring back Bernie! Its the honorable thing to do...
The Democratic Convention may approach 1968 proportions
Bernie is more alive and kicking than the presumed candidate.
Less the chitown cops and clubs. Sadly. :-)
Where does New York get off on taking Sander’s name off the ballot? He stated quite clearly that he is suspending his campaign but hopes to collect more delegates all the way to the convention.
This has worked for Trump once before...
Congratulations NY. You just violated Bernies constitutional right to a fair and free election by halting the Democrats primary. By the letter of the law, no one is awarded the delegates since there was no election.
NY state board of election violated his rights by taking his name off of the ballot. How can they legally do this since he paid his filing fee. His campaign was suspended. He did not drop out.
This is not communist China. The people did not have their say.
Barnie, Cenk, and the young jerks roll on.
Actually, this is untrue. The individual Parties can choose how to decide who gets their delegates. Most hold caucuses or primaries, but they are not required to.
However, if the state is holding the primary but removing his name from the ballot, then he has a beef with the state party for sure.
But legally, the NY Dem party could draw straws to decide who gets delegates if that is what they decide.
