Diamond & Silk lose Fox News gig after pushing coronavirus conspiracies

Fox News has reportedly cut ties with outspoken Trump-supporting duo Diamond & Silk.

“After what they’ve said and tweeted you won’t be seeing them on Fox Nation or Fox News anytime soon,” a source with knowledge of the split told the Daily Beast.

Lynette “Diamond” Hardaway and Rochelle “Silk” Richardson regularly appeared on Fox News and have long been contributors to the network’s streaming service Fox Nation. The duo, who vigorously defend President Trump on social media, provided weekly videos for Fox Nation that appeared on the streaming service “like clockwork” until earlier this month, the Daily Beast reported Monday.

No new episodes have been added since April 7. Before then, the sisters never missed a week posting new episodes since December 2018. The duo last appeared on Fox News on March 6 and Fox Business Network on March 7.

“Diamond & Silk have used their platform to spread misinformation about the coronavirus, claiming the number of coronavirus deaths in the United States has been inflated to damage Trump. Silk has questioned whether the virus was part of a “little deep-state action going on behind the scenes.”

...the truth stings doesn’t it?

“They’ve also promoted the conspiracy that 5G technology was being used to infect people with the virus. “

Sounds like their critics can’t follow “the Science”.

FOX probably told them, "Be natural and authentic, but not too controversial."

Meaning, "Keep it pretty tame, or we'll pull the plug."

If you believe that “5G” affects a virus, you clearly have no idea what 5G is.

If you disagree with me, tell me what you think 5G actually is.

Actually it only applies to the government. The First Amendment protects our free speech from suppression by the government. It does not apply to private individuals or corporations.

To the left truth = conspiracy. Playing their own words back to them = hate speech.

You have to bend reality very hard to be a lib these days.

I love Diamond and Silk, they are so cute and funny. And they nail it. I haven’t watched Fox in ages.

Hopefully, they’ll turn up on OAN.

You almost have to ask yourself who at Fox wants to trade the audience they used to have for the audience at CNN? That has to be one crazy suicidal business decision.
