To add insult to injury, Trump criticized Kemp at two CTF briefings in front of the Fake News, just to make sure Kemp knew Trump was pi$$ed at him! I’ll guarentee Trump’s performance didn’t go over well in Georgia. He’s not seeing their suffering; Kemp is.

I don’t know. It would “appear” so. We don’t know all that transpired. I’m SURE Trump had his reasons that we may never know.

I TRUST Trump 100%. No Butts in my support. Even when/if he is wrong, I will STILL support him. I don’t expect him to be “perfect”. There was only ONE perfect man.

Yes! The GA governor got it right. The lockdown was supposed to flatten the curve, not make sure no one got the virus.

The lockdown was unconstitutional, but we allowed it for 15 days for the sake of getting ahead of the curve. We did not agree to be shut down based on arbitrary dictates by the medical ‘experts’.

It doesn’t matter if GA has ‘problems’, they have the ability to handle them. The lockdown was meant to remove the virus but to give the States the ability to treat patients of it.

If the lockdown was unconstitutional then why did you allow it at all?

I don’t consider ‘weeks’ quickly! Trump doesn’t realize how much damage is being done each day we are shut down. He has really been deceived by the two doomsdayers!

Because of the crises that was supposed to happen (2million dead, overwhelmed hospitals). Trump made this a war effort. Those numbers never came about, not even the 200,000 that Debra said were going to happen even if did everything perfectly. Now, they shifted from getting the hospitals ready to treat patients, to not allowing States to end the lockdown until no more cases of the virus show up. That was never the intention. This shows how tyrannical the governors are when given arbitrary power.

I live in Georgia too. We should have never been shut down so much in the first place. At least I can go to my gym now. Yesterday I was on Channel 2 news eating at a restaurant. I can’t tell you how angry many of my family and friends are over Trump’s anti-opening comments about Kemp.

Spitting mad at Trump. So go ahead and think it was a good move, but the margins of votes are not big enough to piss off this many people and get away with it. If Trump is just going to be another big government swamp member, what’s the point of bothering to vote really?

As long as the GA healthcare system isn’t overwhelmed, that’s a success. That was the whole point of the lockdown—to prevent a collapse of the healthcare system due to surge demand popping up everywhere at the same time. Not having access to healthcare for those who really need hospitalization is what would really spike the death toll.

Aside from that, Trump is honoring the US Constitution (something every president swears to “preserve, protect, and defend” and then typically ignores). Public health is primarily a State responsibility, with the Federal government serving only as a backstop and coordinator for inter-State matters.

I don’t know if it was a mistake or not but it certainly isn’t consequential.
