The long knives will come out in some places and the guns will be next. Rise in suicides. Robberies will take place. Businesses will defy the government decrees to stay closed and reopen. Nobody can go without cashflow to pay their expenses. People will demand their jobs back, if their employers are even still in business.
People will not tolerate this much longer.
Who will force employers to hire back the same people? Especially the ones with seniority, over 60, or maybe with a couple of years to retirement? Heck, we don’t seem to be able to get companies to get rid of their visa workers.
