Former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial nominee Stacey Abrams claimed in June 2014 that poor voter registration totals among people of color across the South only served to empower a minority white conservative coalition.
Abrams, then the minority leader of her states House of Representatives, made the remark while discussing the importance of registering minority voters at national conference hosted by PowerPAC+ in Washington, DC. The conference, which was funded in part by a liberal dark money network with ties to the progressive billionaire George Soros, centered around how race will win the race. At the time, Abrams had just launched a broad sweeping voter registration effort named the New Georgia Project, with hopes of making her state friendlier territory for Democrats.
I want to frame this in a specific way, Abrams began her remarks. Georgia has 31 percent African American population, 9 percent Latino, [and] 3.5 precent Asian American. So were 43.5 percent of the population but in terms of voting strength, African Americans vote about 30 percent of the electorate. The Latino population votes at about 1.5 percent and the Asian American population votes at 1.3 percent.
Arguing that there were 833,000 unregistered people of color in Georgia and a drop-off of more than 600,000 voters between presidential and midterm elections, Abrams claimed the data proved we underperform every single election.
Thats our fault I mean everybody in this room including me, we have great conversations about registration, we have conversations about turn out, she said. What we do not talk about is about what were supposed to do the day after.
Abrams added that if voter registration groups like hers were able to harness the existing voting strength, we would win every single state wide seat every single time.

If elected, this woman would become the American Winnie Mandela.
But, at least her credit card debt would be paid off. (For those who don’t know, Stacy Abrams can’t handle her own personal finances, even though she was nearly elected Governor of Georgia and is on Creepy Joe’s short list for VP, where she’d “be a heartbeat away...”)
Those on the Left, that are close to the Center or consider themselves a Centrist, given how insane the Dem Party has become, need to realize that there’s a chance she could get the nod for VP. And, be the next President of the United States of America. And that would be absolutely horrific.
Joes short-bus for VP.
Look up racist in the dictionary and youll find her picture.
What’s with this “we” business, that “we’re 43.5% of the population”? Is she so arrogant as to think that all of those groups are supposed to vote Democrat? Does she feel entitled to those votes?
Racist Democrat.
Ugly inside and out.
Think of this, at this moment this little peach has about a 30-35% chance of being President about a year and a half from now.
For those who dont know, Stacy Abrams cant handle her own personal finances, even though she was nearly elected Governor of Georgia ....
As a resident of Georgia, I find it hard to believe how so many would dismiss your statement about being nearly elected(which I totally agree with). At the end it was 60k vote margin, if I’m not mistaken. For who she is, what she said and what she believes in, that is way too close for me. She shouldn’t have even been in the running.
But, with Southern Governor’s doing everything they can to lure the .... high paying jobs in tech, etc ... to move south, giving away the kitchen sink as their developer buddies slam up subdivisions all over the place, the electorate is changing very fast.
Georgia is well on it’s way of becoming another state where the cities rule the roost and the suburbs and rural areas pay the price. Say hello to NY Lite, California Lite, Washington Lite, Oregon Lite, Illinois Lite, Michigan Lite, Connecticut Lite, Pennsylvania Lite, Texas Lite, Tennessee Lite, North Carolina Lite, Virginia Lite, Arizona Lite .... coming to a town near you .... Idaho Lite, Montana Lite, Florida Lite
Scary as F*ck .... And, I’ll add to that, since she has a lot of baggage, in more ways than one. Another potential pick for VP is, Keisha Lance Bottoms, Mayor of Atlanta. In the words of a close friend that is employed by the city, she’s keeping everything closed to tank the city’s economy so they can try to blame it on the President.
It’s frightening to think that these two are some of the best they have to offer. That talent pool is really, really shallow.
Yes, her election was disturbingly close.
Another disturbingly close election was in your neighboring state Florida, where Andrew Gillum made a fairly competitive run against Ron DeSantis. If Gillum had been elected, Florida would have been caught with its pants down (Gillum bust reference).
Scaty makes it plain exactly what she and her party are all about.
Yah, God forbid that minorities should have rights, you fat ugly pig!
I say, “Bring her on!” PLUGS/GAPPER, a dream ticket . . . Let’s see if Sleepy Perverted Joe can get his arms around the Hungry Hippo
Ive seen a big increase here in Cobb county of out of state plates. NY, NJ, Mass, Pa etc.
Plus if Karen Handel is the Republican running again...may as well pencil in Lucy McBath for her 2nd term
I sure hope we don’t wind up with Quid Pro Creepy Joe and Ghettopotamus!
Abrams is an ‘extreme’ racist! She plays that card 24/7!
Neither could the Obama’s!
There was a 2007-2008 interview with Michelle where she talked a out being several 100 thousands of dollars in debt (consumer debt) prior to Zero’s election to the Senate. Remember she was a “failed lawyer” & Zero was a “community organizer” prior to his election to the Senate. (After Zero’s elevation to the Senate she got the $300K per year “little work” hospital job!)
RACIST to the CORE
Plus the ugliest woman on earth
